| A TCXO (temperature compensated crystal oscillator) is a crystal oscillator with a temperature compensated network that consists of at least two thermistors and a temperature variable resistors. The temperature coefficient and values of thermistors are used to provide a control voltage that compensates the change in TCXO frequency over temperature. Temperature compensation can be achieved with or without use of a varactor, however this technique is harder to accomplish because exact resistors values are needed to compensate for the frequency change over temperature. Digital TCXO can also be used to correct frequency shift. For more information on our TCXO products contact us at (775) 851-8880. |
